Are there travel fees?

will you travel for (1) makeup appointment?

I only do so if you are located in Broward County. I unfortunately do not offer makeup services outside of the county unless it is a party of 4+ girls! I'm focusing on bridal/wedding makeup for the time being, so groups of 4 and over only. If you need recommendations for other artists, I'd be happy to help. (Exception: Halloween SFX appointments or brides-to-be who book me for photography on their wedding day.)

how long do makeup sessions take?

I alott for 75 minutes/person, but I typically only use about 60 minutes of that time frame. Over the years, I've found that there are usually a lot of last minute touch-ups needed before actually leaving my clients. I've alotted 75 minutes so there are no discrepancies with timing for your special event.

If you are located outside of Broward County, travel fees may apply. Reach out to me with the exact location we will be meeting so I am able to give an exact estimate on travel pricing. 

In order to secure your special day, I collect 50% of the total due up front (non-refundable). This helps prevent last minute cancellations that could have gone to someone else inquiring for the same day.

Do you have backup gear + liability insurance?

Yes and yes. I always bring back-up gear just in case. I also have liability insurance, feel free to send me an e-mail if a venue would like a COl.

how many images do you include?

For 1 hour sessions this can range from 75-100 photos (sometimes more because there are so many good ones to choose from 😜) For weddings, this depends on the length of the wedding but will range from 75-100 photos each hour. (DISCLAIMER: This isn't a guarantee for every single wedding, but it is an average.)

WHEN CAN WE EXPECT OUR PHOTOS?

I like to make sure that my clients have the best quality/edited photos! With that being said, please allow the following turnaround times:
PORTRAIT SESSIONS: 2-3 weeks
WEDDINGS: 4-6 weeks

DO YOU OFFER PAYMENT PLANS?

For weddings, yes! I understand how much money you're investing in your wedding and respect that everyone's financial situation is different. I offer payment plans in 3, 4, or 5 payments. Final payments for bookings are due 60 days prior to wedding date.

CAN YOU SEND THE UN-EDITED/RAW FILES?

DO YOU RETAIN THE COPYRIGHT FOR THE PHOTOS?

I FEEL SO AWKWARD IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA & DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH MY HANDS, CAN YOU HELP ME?

I do not offer un-edited/RAW files. Kind of how bakers don't provide the extra flour they used when making your cake or the frosting that's left over after decorating. 

I do provide a copywrite release for you, that way you are able to print your products if needed.

Do not worry, I hear this so often! I'm the same way when I have pictures taken of myself. I promise to help guide you and provide direction. (Here's a little tip as well: the more you interact with your loved one during the shoot, the more candid and real it will look in the photos.)

WE have no theme idea for our shoot! Do you have recommendations?

ABSOLUTELY! The thing I tell all my clients is to think of ideas outside the box that really relate to your relationship with your significant other. The more unique, THE BETTER! Living in Florida, I know it's easy to migrate to ideas like a beach or public park shoot without the location having a real significance to your relationship. DIG DEEPER! Do you two enjoy movie dates? Coffee dates? Hanging out at home binge-watching Netflix? Cooking together? Do you two bond over taking your pup for a walk? Camping? Hiking? Theme Parks? The ideas are endless! Trust me, I am all for third-wheeling a date to capture amazing authentic photos of the both of you!

I am indeed vaccinated and would be happy to provide my vaccination passport if needed.

I will wear a mask when providing makeup appointments since we are up close/personal. For shoots, it’s your preference. I also stay 6-feet apart for photo shoots and provide verbal direction.

will the makeup last all day?

The makeup will last all day. I've even had 2 clients in the past tell me they've slept with their makeup on for events they had the following day! I definitely don't recommend that (lol), but this should give you an idea of wear time.

Of course! I know that wedding days are filled with waterworks. I have waterproof mascara and eyeliner to keep your makeup intact. For bridal parties, I also provide mini touch-up kits to carry in a clutch the day of the wedding. It includes: blotting papers, paper towel, q-tips, a sample of translucent powder, and a sample of your lip color.

what happens if you get sick on our wedding day??

I hope this will never happen! However, mother nature has a mind of its own. In the event that I am unable to make the wedding day, I'll reach out and try to find another photographer in my place who is just as capable. They would shoot on my memory cards, and from there I would edit the unedited images so you still receive the end product you hired me for. For bridal makeup, I will find another makeup artist in my place who provides the same expertise.
